That's Racist!

It seems that Obama has done one good thing for this country. The saying "that's racist!" is now a punchline and not to be taken seriously.

For instance, when a character on NBC's "Parks and Recreation" explains to a co-worker how to do laundry, he says, "OK, so you always separate your lights from your darks."

She responds, "That's racist."

President Barack Obama is attempting to block the execution in Texas on Thursday of a Mexican man because it would breach an international convention and do "irreparable harm" to US interests.

Leal, 38, was convicted in 1994 of the rape and murder of a 16-year-old girl in San Antonio. Few question that he was responsible for the killing but the Texas authorities failed to tell Leal, who was born in Mexico and has lived in the US since the age of two, that under the Vienna convention he was entitled to contact the Mexican consulate when he was arrested.

In 2004, the international court of justice (ICJ) ruled that the US authorities had failed to meet its legal obligations to 51 Mexicans awaiting execution in American prisons when they were not informed of their right to contact their consulates.

The Man Made Global Warming ass-clowns are really grasping at straws.

Smoke belching from Asia's rapidly growing economies is largely responsible for a halt in global warming in the decade after 1998 because of sulphur's cooling effect, even though greenhouse gas emissions soared, a U.S. study said on Monday.

World temperatures did not rise from 1998 to 2008, while manmade emissions of carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuel grew by nearly a third, various data show.

Do you have a name you like to use to insult people? Does it make you feel clever, or superior,  to call them that?  Why do you think that is?

I have one name for these people.       People.

Why MN is broke

Posted by: Barthélemy Barbancourt

Tagged in: Untagged

In the absence of talks between Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton and GOP legislative leaders, the shutdown was rippling into the lives of people like Sonya Mills, a 39-year-old mother of eight facing the loss of about $3,600 a month in state child care subsidies.

..after the shutdown also has to care for her six youngest children, ages 3 through 14, because she lost state funding for their daycare and other programs.

$43,200 a year for daycare??? How much is she getting from the other programs and how much overhead do those programs have? Ms. Mills probably costs the state of MN over $100,000 a year.

An Interdependence Day Celebration for July 4

Faced with July 4th celebrations that are focused on militarism, ultra-nationalism, and “bombs bursting in air,” many American families who do not share those values turn July 4th into another summer holiday focused on picnics, sports, and fireworks, while doing their best to avoid the dominant rhetoric and bombast.

Only a commie, pinko, bastard liberal could try to turn Independence Day into Interdependence Day. Why do they hate the country that has given them so much? And why don't these losers just move to Cuba?

Amazon cuts out all California affiliated websites. Hundreds (Thousands?) of jobs lost and no taxes will be collected.

Democratic brilliance at it's finest. It's for the little people! It's for the children! Or maybe it's democratic crony capitalism for the campaign contributions from big box retailers who figure they can take the competition down a peg or two.

Leftist destruction of the economy continues apace..

Obviously there is nothing left to cut.

Resort-style swimming pools with fountains and heated spas, billiards rooms, granite counter tops, ceramic tile, indoor basketball courts, stainless steel appliances -- many Fairfax County taxpayers cannot afford such luxuries.  But they are paying for these amenities for use by low-income residents who live in subsidized housing in affluent neighborhoods.

"They're a part of our rental program where we subsidize the rents for the individuals in the units, and we end up having to pick up the condo fees," supervisor Pat Herrity told 630 WMAL News.

Our society has reached a point where the sane decision is to either go on welfare or get a government job. Working in the private sector is for suckers.

it looks like you need to be above $37,000 to have a better than 50% chance of having to pay any federal taxes. The upper limit for the bottom 40% of tax payers is $37,774.

Note that 47% of all taxpayers pay no income taxes. Any way you cut it, America has many riding on the backs of a few and the few are getting pretty sick of it.

Quintile Limit Mean
Lowest $20,035 $11,352
Second $37,774 $28,777
Third $60,000 $48,223
Fourth $97,032 $76,329
Highest Fifth $168,170
Top 5% $174,012Lower boundary
$297,405

Don't call them unpatriotic, but...

Harvard: July 4th Parades Are Right-Wing

Democratic political candidates can skip this weekend's July 4th parades. A new Harvard University study finds that July 4th parades energize only Republicans, turn kids into Republicans, and help to boost the GOP turnout of adults on Election Day.

"Fourth of July celebrations in the United States shape the nation's political landscape by forming beliefs and increasing participation, primarily in favor of the Republican Party," said the report from Harvard.

Why is Dayton trying to screw the middle class?

Here's a two-minute drill in soak-the-rich economics:

Maryland couldn't balance its budget last year, so the state tried to close the shortfall by fleecing the wealthy. Politicians in Annapolis created a millionaire tax bracket, raising the top marginal income-tax rate to 6.25%. And because cities such as Baltimore and Bethesda also impose income taxes, the state-local tax rate can go as high as 9.45%. Governor Martin O'Malley, a dedicated class warrior, declared that these richest 0.3% of filers were "willing and able to pay their fair share." The Baltimore Sun predicted the rich would "grin and bear it."

(CNSNews.com) - Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told the House Small Business Committee on Wednesday that the Obama administration believes taxes on small business must increase so the administration does not have to “shrink the overall size of government programs.”

(...)

Geithner, continuing, argued that if the administration did not extract a trillion dollars in new revenue from its plan to increase taxes on people earning more than $250,000, including small businesses, the government would in effect “finance” what he called a “tax benefit” for those people.

Bernanke Admits He’s Clueless On Economy’s Soft Patch

Brutally honest, Bernanke admitted that he had no clue what was actually causing the current fragility in the U.S. economic recovery.  While the FOMC statement assigned blame outside of the U.S., pointing at Japan along with rising food and oil prices, Bernanke was put on the spot by a reporter who noted the inconsistency behind that explanation and a lowering of long term forecasts.  Bernanke took the hit, admitting only some of the factors were temporary and that he didn’t know exactly what was causing the slowdown, but that it would persist.  “Growth,” said Bernanke, “will return into 2012.”

No Clue? Not one fucking clue? How about Obamacare, the out of control EPA, the Frank-Dodd bill, drilling bans that have jacked energy prices and wiped out jobs, the new tax on medical device companies, the fucked up bankruptcies of GM and Chrysler and the chill they put on the bond market, the 35% corporate tax rate that is keeping billions off-shore, the capital gains tax, estate tax uncertainty or how about the massive fucking debt that Obama is racking up and historic rates?

Jesus, are these people really this fucking stupid? Sadly, I really think that they are. Can someone buy Ben a subscription to the Wall Street Journal, please!

Obama's daily failure review

Obama is such a piss poor President that one can do a daily review of new things Obama has fucked up.

President Barack Obama's health care law would let several million middle-class people get nearly free insurance meant for the poor, a twist government number crunchers say they discovered only after the complex bill was signed.

The change would affect early retirees: A married couple could have an annual income of about $64,000 and still get Medicaid, said officials who make long-range cost estimates for the Health and Human Services department.

The Taliban is toppled, OBL is dead and the Afghani's killed more troops last month than the Taliban. Time to give Afghanistan back to the savages.

Hussein is dead and we have spent billions trying to get the Shia, Sunni and Kurd to get along. How about we tell Iraq that our job is done and theirs has just gotten started?

Bomb the shit out of Libya and kill the army and then turn the whole deal over to the rebels.
