DFL candidate for governor Mark Dayton said the week the won the party primary that he had asked both the president and Vice President Joe Biden to visit the state to help him raise money.
Only uber-liberal Dayton could be dumb enough to think that campaigning with Obama would help his campaign. Russ Feingold is staying far away from Radioactive Barry when he comes to Wisconsin.
I think I might have to grab a sign and go to my very first protest. If a large number of us turn out to protest Obama, we might show the media just how many people really do hate this guy and his liberal policies.

Bart you really think that the MSM will allow even one picture of a protest about Obama getting out of there news rooms.

I'm sure the media has been holding secret meetings in secret locations all weekend to develop secret strategies on how to prevent these pictures from getting out of their secret newsrooms.

JR, it's what you don't see that is most telling. I went to the State Fair last week. Lots of political booths, radio stations and 100,000 people. Not one Obama t-shirt. Nary an Obama hat. Zero Obama buttons. 8 hours and I did not see his name once (and I look for things like this, trust me).
The thrill is gone.

Or as Phil Anselmo of Pantera so eloquently screams on the Great Southern Trendkill record (are there any heavy metal fans here?):
"The trend is over!!!!!"

When reality smacks you upside the head, it's usually with the full palm.

Heavy metal fan here... but I never listened to Pantera.

A lot of metal fans dig Alice in Chains, but I never got into them for whatever reason.
I saw Slayer and Meagedeth in St. Paul a few weeks back. Tix were between $40-60 apiece and the place was jam packed. If you would've told me in 1987 that those two bands would sell out mid-size arenas at those prices 25 years later during a terrible economy I would've laughed my ass off.
