The year without a summer?!!!

Posted by: Barthélemy Barbancourt

One of the reasons for this could be colder-than-normal weather across the northern tier of the country that has suppressed the number of thunderstorms and has significantly reduced the number of tornadoes this year. The number of reported tornadoes so far this year is 685, just over half of the average annual amount, which is 1,297.

According to Long Range Expert Joe Bastardi, areas from the northern Plains into the Northeast will have a "year without a summer." The jet stream, which is suppressed abnormally south this spring, .....

FUCK!!!!!!!!!!

I am so fucking sick of Minnesota and the God-awful fucking weather here I'm gonna snap. I swear if some tree hugging jackass even mentions Global Warming to me this summer I'm gonna shove his polar fleece jacket right up his granola farting ass and then slap the smug look right off of his Sierra Club ass kissing face . I know that God hates Al Gore but why the fuck do we have to pay for his messiah complex.

(I know, MN is filled with Prius driving dickheads that love the hate society and themselves for enjoying the advantages of modern society. This state deserves it more than Berkeley, CA)

It's settled science.
It's peer reviewed.
Don't you know that global warming can make it colder?

Guys who don't like seasons should move to Florida.

Mosquitoes and humidity in the summer, cold as a witch's attitude in the winter.

Keeps the riff-raff out.

Cold weather pisses me off
written by Barthélemy Barbancourt , June 09, 2009

I have thin Island blood now so the very idea of cold weather puts me in a foul mood. The idea of no summer is just too much to bear.

Besides...

If one can't bitch about the weather, we're all screwed. It's the only true common denominator, no matter where someone lives, what they do, how much money they make, etc!!!

Of what I tell people who I meet on vacation if they aren't from MN, "Minnesota is a great state once you look past the weather"

Ed- We like the change of seasons. It`s just that it`s supposed to go from spring into summer, not spring into fall.

A gay might consider that profanity a compliment, Bart.

I love the extremes of MN weather.

Generally speaking, I love the weather in this state. It is better than rain 80% of the year. Yes, it has been a poor May and June thus far.

We had rain last February in northern MN, that really sucked!!!

How I rank the seasons:
#1 Fall
#2 Winter
#3 Summer
#4 Spring

So what?

I love the seasons too. I come from the land of two seasons, warm and hot. In my dotage my Missus and I are considering doing the snow-bird deal. Fla, in the winter, Mn in the summer.(BTW, Mn summers are a secret) Got family in both places could be done.
