Hey look! It's the Obama's, on another vacation!! And what do you know, the liberal MSM is covering for them, calling this vacation "showing the Gulf as a vacation spot".
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - Catching a glimpse of porpoises, President Barack Obama and his family went boating Sunday as part of a weekend trip to the Gulf of Mexico that was designed to showcase the region's attractions as well as the president's concern for those affected by the BP oil spill.
Nope, nothing to see here, please move along. How fucking pathetic. I hope you liked the porpoises, Mr. President. You got to see them thanks to my taxes.

Michigan Democratic Rep. Bart Stupak, who was the central figure in the abortion debate surrounding the health care law, will retire from Congress at the end of this term.
Stupak, who's been in Congress for 18 years, will make the announcement at a 12:30 p.m. ET press conference in Marquette, Mich.

On the environmentally sexy scale, wind turbines are a 10 and solar is hot.
Hennepin County is trying both, and has faced some ridicule for projections that show its new $900,000 solar installation in Medina won't recoup its investment for 60 years.
$900,000 for solar cells that will most likely be destroyed by hail long before their 60 year re-payment period? I see that Hennepin County still has too much money. I would have hoped that the people in local government would have stopped the most egregiously wasteful projects but it seems that they haven't. The only way to get the attention of people this thick headed is to cut their funding until either they get the message or their constituents deliver it to them at the ballot box.
