Our pal Jim ross has been commenting here for quite some time now. This week he made the comparison between gubernatorial hopeful Tom Emmer and the boyband 98 Degrees. That alone was funny as hell to me, as his logic was pretty spot on. Here is his comment:

Since I don't have HBO, I'm pretty sure the Bodacious Mrs. W and I are the last ones in the free world to watch Deadwood. We just kicked off the first season, and WOW. Yes, there is a smattering of "salty" language, and they love to toss around "c*nt" and "c*cksu*ker" like crazy, but the dialogue is really very clever. And I'm a big Timothy Olyphant fan (if you haven't watched the FX series Justified, I highly recommend it). We've knocked down 10 episodes so far, and there are so many damned good quotes. So, open thread time - let's hear your favorite quotes from the show...
Mine, so far anyway, has got to be from Al Swearengen:
"I've gotta fuck somethin'. Trixie!! Bring the bottle!"
Of course, Calamity Jane has many a great line as well, including:
"I'm drunk. Correct. What the fuck is it to you?"

In another thread, a discussion popped up regarding chain restaurants vs. independently owned establishments. Specifically, Perkins and Denny's took some shots, but as we all know there are far more "chain" restaurants out there. I don't want to rehash the pissing match here, but I would like to expand on the discussion a bit.
You can't miss TV Shows that focus on food these days. Whether they be shows like Man V. Food, or how to shows, or shows that feature restaurants like Diners, Drive-in's and Dives. Fun places with good food are all the rage, but saving a buck is also a good thing. And since it's been awhile since we have had a restaurant post where we talked about likes, dislikes, etc., so let's have at it. What do you value in a restaurant of your choosing? Is it price? Cleanliness? Staff? Or is it something else entirely? What do you prefer - frequenting mom and pop joints, or chains?
