The new Anti-Strib Manifesto

Posted by: Jim W

It never ceases to amaze me how some folks act when they are guests.  You allow them in, then they bitch because they don’t like the way things are.  If it were me, I’d just leave.  I mean, really.  Why waste time somewhere if you don’t like it?  But, we’re talking about the liberal mind, so go figure.  Command and control and all that jazz.  Before I address any specific points, let me ask each of you a very simple question.

When you’re blogging here, are you having fun?

Give that question serious thought before you go on.  If you cannot honestly say “yes”, then don’t read past the break.  Just leave.  You’re doing yourself a disservice if you continue doing something that isn’t fun for you.

Because the stakes are so low!

This old joke came to me this week when we had a disagreement over Locke and the concept of natural law come up on one of the threads. I don't have a dog in this fight but the commenters got all riled up over this (IMO) esoteric concept.

I'd ask every to take a step back and re-evaluate what is occurring before getting too excited. Here is my take on the matter.
