President Barack Obama says the weekend ouster of Honduran leader Manuel Zelaya was a "not legal" coup and that he remains the country's president.
Yep, that quote is from our Democrat "Not Ready for Primetime" President. You really can't make this shit up. Reality has a way of slapping idealistic morons up side the head, so Obambi should have quite a headache by now.
Hours after the sitting president was deposed by a military-led coup, a new president of Honduras was sworn in Sunday.
But the former president was not ready to give up his powers.
The political developments that swept Honduras over the past weeks and led up to Sunday's coup had the makings of a crisis, but the situation in the Central American nation of 8 million people was calm.
Roberto Micheletti was sworn in as provisional president to the applause of members of Congress, who chanted, "Honduras! Honduras!" Outside the building, supporters of ousted President Jose Manuel Zelaya protested, but their numbers were limited, and the streets remained mostly peaceful. Micheletti told CNN en Español Sunday evening that he has imposed an "indefinite" curfew.
Micheletti, the head of Congress, became president after lawmakers voted by a show of hands to strip Zelaya of his powers, with a resolution stating that Zelaya "provoked confrontations and divisions," within the country. A letter of resignation purported to be from Zelaya was read to members before the vote.
And in Washington, President Obama said in a statement that he was "deeply concerned" by the news.
Deeply concerned?? I'd love to ask the Iranian Freedom fighters how they feel about Obama and his "concern" but I Wanna Jihad is rounding them up and killing them as quickly as possible.
Obama will never be ready to handle this job and now people are dying due to his incompetence. The Obama death toll will far surpass anything that occured under GW Bush.

Officially, both Hugo Chavez and Barack Obama have called for the reinstatement of Manuel Zelaya, who was legally removed by the courts and Congress for violating Honduras' constitution—allegedly to extend his rule. The Honduran constitution limits presidents to a single four-year term and forbids any modification of that limit. Zelaya's opponents feared the referendum was part of an attempt to try to run again, just as other Latin American leaders have removed constitutional clauses designed to prevent strongmen from extending their rule.
The further you read into what Zelaya was trying to do, the more proof you see that he was indeed trying to extend his rule in the same fashion of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Hugo Chavez. Best of all (tongue in cheek), Obama and Clinton support the deposed Zelaya. It's obvious that our adminastration is more interested in not offending the worlds socialist elite and leaders, then they are in preserving freedom through out the free world.

so let me get this right, he has condemed this seemingly legal act of constitutional power but took a week to say anything about whacky jihad nut boy over in Iran cracking down on protesters after it has basically been agreed to that he stole the election. Are we in the fucking twilight zone or what here?

Where's Margaret on this topic?
I've been waiting to see what she has to say.
What Jeremy said is what I'd heard as well.
He wanted to amend the constitution by popular vote so he could run again: Amendment by popular vote is incorrect procedure.
Everyone in the nation refused to even print the ballots: so Hugo printed the ballots up for him.
Congress and the supreme court had him removed from power but he refused to leave: so court order in hand, the army went in and removed him.
It's as if Nixon had refused to go.
At some point somebody has to go in there and escort your ass out.
Now Hugo Chavez, Castro, and Obama all stand shoulder to shoulder in support of this asshat illegally staying in power in direct contravention of the nation's constitution.
Way to go Barry.
You make us so proud in your support of dictatorships.

With him and Chavez agreeing on something he is kinda being exposed for the marxist he truly is, and the one we've been saying he was since last fucking march.

Obama talks about whenever we meddle in Iran we fuck things up. How about Central/South America. Lets see, we got Pinochet put in Chile in the 1970's which worked out great, the whole Iran-Contra thing in the 1980's was a shitstorm from day one and could have brought down Reagan, we probably temporarily ousted Chavez in 2002 and now he's more powerful than ever, and anytime we even mention Mexico they seem to implode. Screw nuking the middle east, lets nuke everything south of Brownsville.

The American press will be hard pressed to hide this.
Somehow I think they are up to the task.

Don't forget about Castro Jeremy. Now the three leaders speaking out against the "resignation" are Hugo, Castro and Uhbomba.
Somewhere in DC tonight, a tear rolls down the cheek of our President as another pure Socialist regime is avoided.

Good old Danny Ortega is unhappy about the impeachment for trying to usurp the constitution as well.
