Is this the change you wanted?

Nearly 15% of the U.S. population relied on food stamps in May, according to the United States Department of Agriculture.

The number of Americans using the government's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) -- more commonly referred to as food stamps -- shot to an all-time high of 45.8 million in May, the USDA reported. That's up 12% from a year ago, and 34% higher than two years ago.

The program provides monthly benefits to low-income individuals and families, which they can use at stores that accept SNAP benefits.

To qualify for food stamps, an individual's income can't exceed $1,174 a month or $14,088 a year -- an amount that is 130% of the national poverty level.

The average food stamp benefit was $133.80 per person and $283.65 per household in May.

Again, I'd like to state that in my opinion, Obama is an incompetent failure. But some think that Obama planned to get more Americans dependent on the government. All Marxists know that you have to collapse the capitalist system to get to Marxism. Obama is much closer to a Marxist than a free-market capitalist.

No, it's not what I wanted, but it is what I expected from a socialist who in 2008 was promising to lead us out of an economic disaster.

And he doesn't even have the balls to own up for his blunders and try a different approach. Arrogance and stupidity.

Arrogant incompetent, in equal measure.

Keynes was Wrong

Well at least Obama may have done one good thing; he performed the largest Keynesian experiment ever and it failed.

I wish that people would finally admit that Keynes was wrong, but his bad ideas are so seductive to the left that they will never admit failure.

Keynes will never die

Robert Riche was on morning Joe talking about doing the WPA,CCC, NIRA all over. When Joe pointed out they didn't work for FDR, he said that WW II and rebuilding europe was Keynesian. Whoa !

Leftists like Obama will never admit that government is the problem and not the answer.
