Illinois, Corrupt and inefficient

I have been asked to register a tissue bank with a variety of states. Some states have everything online and registration is easy. Other require phone calls and the people are usually very helpful. Then there is Illinois.

The email they have online bounces back as canceled. The customer service line is busy with no option for voice mail. The website is a joke. If you do find a number with voice mail, don't expect a return call.

I am so glad we elected people from this state to run our country.

It is no wonder that Illinois in the top five "sinkhole" states:

http://truthinaccounting.org/state-of-states/

Nearly $130 Billion in unfunded liabilities with only $19.6 Billion available in revenue, which means $27000 in debt to each taxpayer. The financial corruption and accounting fraud in Illinois staggers the imagination of a Minnesotan. Speaking as a native of Chicago, I witnessed firsthand the endless politician prison parade, endless tax hikes, stolen elections and a daily toxic atmosphere of dealing with "how things work". That this entity- just-this-close to "failed state" banana republic- status- actually produced our current President is a sad comment on the body politic and, short of radical change from business as usual, offers little hope for the future of the country. I predict secessionist movements will explode when responsible states are "asked" to bail out these "failed states".

The Feds will do that without asking

Obama has shown that a significant percentage of the population will support and increase in debt, no matter how insane.

This is why I am leaning towards Rick Perry for President. I can imaging him telling Jerry Brown to go fuck himself. I am afraid Romney will fold to the idea that a failed California and Illinois will equal a failed USA.

Tell them Willie Boy is here

Perry has moved into the lead, and Romney has squishish tendencies, for sure; but I am a bit concerned about how much of his schtick is legit and how much is Hucka-demagoguery. If a nickname surfaces- say, "Slick Rick", I might have some flashbacks to Willie Clinton.

Does Ron Paul have a chance?

"I can imaging him telling Jerry Brown to go fuck himself."

Not really, but I could him leading a group prayer to have god strike him down.

Romney and Perry look like they just stepped off a gay wedding cake. Way too pretty.

Paul, he looks like he knows something.

BTW, Michelle Bachmann says "Happy Birthday Elvis!"

"Romney and Perry look like they just stepped off a gay wedding cake."

Why does it not surprise me that you would know what a gay wedding cake looks like...Not that there's anything wrong with that.

oh jokin, there you go channeling Seinfeld. When you get older, maybe you'll be able to think up your own jokes.

Wow, supporting a racist, anti-semite, conspiracy-mongerging, earmarking hypocrite like Ron Paul, says a lot more about you than does your comment about Michelle Bachmann. (I'll send you links for each one of my well-documented charges)

Until I get older I can't possibly be as funny as "the master" and his oh-so-original "Elvis Happy Birthday" yuks.

Did Michelle say that? Today is Elvis death day. (you know he's not really dead, don't you?)

Yeah, she said it and as much as I disagree with Rep Bachmann political positions, I'm willing to give her a pass on these inconsequential slips of the tongue. Big deal; it's not really Elvis's birthday today. Shall we talk about the economy or something instead??

Read up on Perry
written by Barthélemy Barbancourt , August 16, 2011

Everyone agrees that he practices bare-knuckles politics. He may be a Christian, but that isn't the first word his opponents and some allies use in describing him. We need a conservative that is just as committed to shrinking government as Obama is to expanding it. I think Perry would really enjoy slashing government programs to balance the budget.

Of course, Chris Christie isn't running or he'd be my pick for doing the same things while smiling about it.

"Trans Texas corridor. HpV vac manditory for 6th graders, Al gore supporter, I wonder."

As appealing as some aspects of his platform are, his Elmer Gantry/Mike Huckabee tendencies and helping to run Al Gore's campaign are disconcerting.

At this point, I'd prefer a Chris Christie/Marco Rubio ticket.
