Facts, Truth, and Honesty really are a stupid person's kryptonite

My initial reaction to seeing the news this AM was irritation over the smug little puke Robert Erickson dumping pennies on the table and disrupting the meeting at Ol' Mexico yesterday.  And then the subsequent "interview" afterwards, where this smug little puke got air time to "threaten" he'd be around in the future, all  because Mr. Emmer dares to agree with the Arizona laws concerning illegal aliens.  But contained within the video was something that pushed me to an entirely new level of irritation...

I know someone in the video

Someone who, on her social media page, mentioned that Mr. Emmer "doesn't get it".

Someone who lives in a home that was purchased by her boyfriends dad (because neither she nor her boyfriend could get a loan themselves, but they had to have a house because they were having a kid).

Someone who, in over 4 years of residing in this home, has yet to make ONE house payment.

Someone that has taken full advantage of every single handout program that is available to scrape together "support" for her kid.

Someone who doesn't have the slightest understanding of the minimum wage argument, only that she's entitled to make as much money as possible for as little work as possible, and learned all she has about Mr. Emmer's stance through the local media...and a friend that claims to know all there is to know about Emmer's stance.

Someone who spends a great deal of that "money for her child" on cigarettes and booze...right along with her boyfriend.  Oh, and they have cable, cell phones, and 5 vehicles in their driveway...and plenty of toys.

Someone who will be voting in the next election.

I was dissapointed when KARE11 gave that dumbass Robert Erickson as much face time as they did yesterday. I keep forgetting that local media is just as biased as national media.

This is good

People see that Emmer isn't afraid to defend his positions and they also see that the pro-criminal alien crowd is a pathetic bunch of terrorists.

The Emmer crowd should give this Erickson asswipe a medal.

Emmer began the process of digging his own politial grave when he made those moronic comments about servers making over 100K. Instead of letting the issue die, he continued to stick his foot in his mouth by pulling out the tired old cliche of blaming the liberal media. The town hall he called was yet another step in exposing Emmer for the fraud that he is. Throughout the town hall, he was vauge and unspecific while twisting around his own words and past positions when directly confronted w/ them.

Then this idiot dumps pennies and screams about imigration. Suddenly the focus isn't so much on how foolish Tom Emmer is. Instead, the focus shifts to a moron w/ pennies and the Arizona immigration law.

Well done, Mr. Erickson. You may have just given the very person you were trying to discredit a get-out-of-jail free card.

That's Governor-Elect Emmer, Jim. Unlike Mark Dayton, he knows how to tie his shoes.

I like Emmer, I've met Emmer, I think he's a good guy.
I have a hard time understanding why he decided to tackle the issue of paying less than minimum wage for tip receiving employees. He may be right but during a campaign it's too easily twisted and demagogued by the Marxist class warriors.

I tend to agree, Sequel. The minimum wage debate is worth having, but it's awfully risky business when trying to run for office.

plus, it emboldens morons like the "someone" I referred to in my post to go off half cocked and become the newest "aggrieved" group.

Plus If elected, Emmer can't change the law. That would be up to the Collective Politboro in St. Paul.

Reportedly,

Emmer says a restaurant owner told him some of his servers were making 100k a year. That owner denies it. One of them is mistaken (lying?) and Emmer doesn't look good making the claim and then not being able to substantiate it.

This is even worse than Entenza's "Come to my website and see my vision" ad. At this rate all Horner will have to do is keep his mouth shut and kiss babies.

I heard Onan like to copulate with a great dane. What her name is, I don't know. It has the same ultimate relevance.

Thats nice Kermit. The nice thing about this story for me is that the first time I copulated with a female was after a dinner date at Ol Mexico in Roseville. has this place really been around that long??? Ah, hot summer nights.....

Good ol JR, if you truly feel that way, then maybe it's best to take your leave. Just ask yourself one question - are you having fun? If you're not, then you've got your answer. Of course, lots of folks have tried to leave. Many just can't quit us.

Besides, we don't need another guy here telling everyone how stupid they are. Odin's got that job locked up already, and he's teh smartest guy here. Just ask him. He'll tell you.

Because unlike 99% of liberals we have this crazy thing called a "sense of humor". It is bipartisan, but for some reason isn't widely distributed.

Ya stumble across a community of missing links, it's hard to walk away without studying 'em for awhile. What do we know about how their fears and motivations and misconceptions influence their behaviors? It'd be interesting to know if economists and other scholars are studying that.

Like I said. "Sense of humor" is an alien concept to most liberals. When they try it, they end up sounding like Rosie O'Donnell, Bill Maher and Onan.
