Thanks for making my day! Our bulldog enjoys some TV ocassionally, but never for more than about 30 seconds at a time. But the other day I was watching the movie Brothers (not very good, by the way) and she was fascinated for about a half hour. She apparently enjoys programs with lots of crying, sadness, drinking and death.

I hate to be a wet blanket here (that's a lie), but dogs only see in black and white. How much contrast would they perceive in a cartoon?

Have you never own a B & W TV?

We didn't get a color TV until I was 10. Cartoons work just fine in B&W.

Dogs generally don't have great eyesight, but they are pretty good at making out thing like rabbits and squirrels. It's more a processing issue than an accuracy issue.

Hold back, Jims... JR's bulldog could be Jewish or Roman Catholic.

Whichever religion worships food and sleeping, that's what my bulldog is.
