Democratic Governors to Pres. Obama - "Your lawsuit is 'toxic' "

Hmmm....Now you've got members of your own party smacking you around over your ill-advised lawsuit against a state for doing the job that YOU should be doing.
Democratic governors expressed "grave" concerns to White House officials this weekend about the Obama administration's suit against Arizona's new immigration law, warning it could cost the party in crucial elections this fall, The New York Times reported late Sunday.
The closed-door meeting took place at the National Governors Association in Boston on Saturday, according to two unnamed governors who spoke to the Times.
"Universally the governors are saying, 'We've got to talk about jobs, and all of a sudden we have immigration going on,'" Gov. Phil Bredesen of Tennessee, a Democrat, was quoted as saying, "It is such a toxic subject, such an important time for Democrats."
This President is going to make many political enemies throughout this country by continuing with this lawsuit. With the revelation that he wanted the new NASA chief to reach out to "dominantly muslim countries", the continued push to remove all rhetorical "islamic extremist" references from terror reporting, and now this equally dumb move, the only message being sent is that he cares more about people outside of the US borders (and not offending them) and not nearly enough about those contained within them. The Democratic Governors clearly get that - politcally and otherwise.
"I might have chosen both a different tack and a different time," Gov. Bill Ritter Jr. of Colorado, a Democrat, was quoted by the Times as saying. "This is an issue that divides us politically, and I'm hopeful that their strategy doesn't do that in a way that makes it more difficult for candidates to get elected, particularly in the West."
Do you suppose he'll get the message, or will he press on and act as if he knows best? Further, what will happen come 2012 when there has been a massive shift in Congress, as has been predicted by many? Will the President be abandoned by his party because he has contributed to their losses? Or will the liberal hypocrites just jump back on the bandwagon and support "The One" for 2012, no matter what? I tend to think they'll be right back in his camp a year from now, but will make the next couple of months VERY difficult for him. And you can bank on us joining in on the fun. Stop supporting outside interests, Mr. President, and start supporting your constituency.

He doesn't care what anyone thinks, Democrat or Republican. His massive ego won't allow him to consider that he could be wrong.
By 2012, there won't be a Democrat Party unless they stop supporting this psychopath. And I doubt that they will.
