Woke up this morning hearing this song. SO appropriate, given our circumstances.
I love the part there the bill talks about it going to committee, to the house, then to the senate, and if approved to the White House. Huh. Seems like the travesty taking place in DC right now is a bit bass ackwards.

Been watching the procedure all day on C-Span...I feel like an Uber Nerd for being riveted to the spectacle and the empassioned grandstanding...can't help but think that if folks were as tuned into Parlimentary Procedure as they are with The New Moon Saga, we might not be facing this mess right now...

I am in the same boat Harlan. Been watching this procedure for going on 4 hours now. I'm surprised at how this has kept my attention for this amount of time but this is historic legislation being debated and voted on. I keep asking the Republicans who trash this legislation on the floor what have you proposed over the last 14 months or when you had the Presidency and control of both houses. Not much. How about the protesters calling members of Congress n____r and f____t and spitting at them. Class act; well done!
