American traditions vs. alien appearances

Many liberals and Democrats are amazed that Barak Hussein Obama no longer connects with the majority of Americans. They pretend that the 10% unemployment and 20% under-employment rates can be blamed on Bush. They think everyone wanted the fucked up Obamacare bill that has yet to help anyone but had already hurt tons of people. They think that America actually believes that an administration that bailed out Wall Street while fucking Main Street is capable of reforming that financial system.

But they also can't grasp that many people have come to conclude that Obama isn't like them and never will be. Our President is half-white. He was raised by his communist grandparents in Hawaii when he wasn't with his promiscuous mother in Indonesia who had a taste for Muslim men who made bad father figures. In short, Obama doesn't have a clue about what it means to be a real American. Here is just that latest example of how he will never be loved by the middle class.

President Obama will make history as the first sitting president on a daytime talk show when he visits with the ladies of "The View." But he'll be missing out on another historic occasion -- the Boy Scouts' Jamboree marking the group's 100th anniversary, right in the president's backyard.

Every president is typically invited, though not all are able to attend. Obama's three predecessors each made it to one Jamboree in person. President George W. Bush spoke in 2005, President Bill Clinton in 1997 and President George H.W. Bush in 1989.

It goes without saying that George HW Bush understood the importance of American traditions. Bill Clinton was pure Americana, some of us cringed at Clinton's level of familiarity with Southern Culture, but there was no denying that Clinton was a product of America. George W Bush owned a baseball team, America's favorite pastime. His connection to our culture ran deep and was obviously important to him.

Obama was in Indonesian when Americans like me joined the Cub Scouts. We have little information about Obama's teen years, but it is safe to assume that his Communist parents opposed membership in an organization like the Boy Scouts.

Below is the Boy Scout Creed of 1923. Look it over and reflect on how many areas are at odds with Obama's view of the world.

Obama is not Loyal. He is not courteous nor kind. I suspect he would have issues with anything that speaks to morality. His belief in God is probably strong, as long as we are talking about Allah. He expects the government to do something for someone every day, releasing him from his obligation to do a good dead daily. Is there a merit badge for Community Organizing?

I almost forgot, Michelle Obama has hated America up until the day they elected her husband president. Her "love" of country seems to be very conditional.

No there is not a merit badge for Community Organizing, But the three below merit badges are close in general terms

Citizenship in the Community
Citizenship in the Nation
Citizenship in the World

There have been a few changes in the Scout oath over the years here is the current version.

On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.

"To learn obedience and practise cheerfulness and thrift."
Well he's obedient to the Marxist creed, and he's cheerfully dismantling America, but he has a real problem with that whole "thrift" thing.

Baseball was America's favorite sport in 1923 but not when Bush owned the Rangers. Kinda funny to see you writing about American traditions when you seem to know so little about the country.

Scraping for mean off topic things to say?

"Baseball is America's favorite past time" is a saying and an old one at that. To bicker that this is no longer true is like arguing that a stitch in time doesn't save nine, maybe it saves 10 or 8?

Odin has reached a new low in posting just to be contrary. This just buttresses my case that liberals can't argue facts and that Obama is not part of mainstream America.

Onan wouldn't know a fact if it bit him. Pulling out that tired old Bush/Rangers meme is proof that he is intellectually bankrupt.

You said Bush's connection to American culture "ran deep" because he owned a baseball team. IIRC, he was brought in for his familiy's political connections so his partners could get a publicly-subsidized stadium built. After it was built, he sold at a profit, thanks at least in part to those subsidies. That the kind of carpetbagging connection to American culture you want to see more of?

In Wonderland, is Montgomery Wards still America's favorite department chain?

The point of this post is how out of touch Obama is and your just as out of touch. This is the 100th year of the boy scouts, and great leader thinks its more important to get in front of a TV camera. What is so hard for you to understand? He has decided it is better to pander to the left then to spend a bit of time with an organization that has give a start in good citizenship and a civil upbringing of helping others to far more people in its 100 years then he can ever hope to really influence himself personally in his short 4 years of infamy. Let me guess Odin you were never a boy scout you were to busy trying to figure out how to get through life with out really learning anything?
