Obama compares himself to Martin Luther King at exclusive $36,000 a head fundraiser

One small problem, Rev. King was right and Obama is wrong.

I would offer a rephrasing: "Rev. King was right about some things while Obama is wrong about everything". King became a moral force based on his civil rights message and his crusader image. He was generally right about civil rights. But he was a socialist and union advocate, because he misunderstood economics (somewhat forgivable as he died in 1968 and didn't see what we have seen). Obama tries to invoke the moral authority and it's making more and more people gag...his Chicago thug politics is eroding what little moral authority his race provided. He is an economic fool. Unlike King, BHO has seen what happened in Communist Europe and still seems to like what they had. Let's raise taxes, build high speed rail, raise the price of energy, dictate what products auto companies will sell, dictate what medical care benefits will be available, and hyper-regulate industry. That oughta work. Jobs will follow naturally. Sure.

Thanks for the clarification

I think Rev. King was correct about civil rights and I didn't know his views on other subjects.

I still long for a nation where we judge a man based on his character rather than the color of his skin. If we did, Obama wouldn't be President.
